While finishing up Morningstar: Book of the Fallen I've also been tinkering with New Game+ for Book 2 (Book 1's NG+ update is already complete).

There are 4 main aspects to the New Game+ refresh.

First of all I started by porting the final book 3 game engine back to book 1, so it contains all the quality of life updates over time (more gems, more monsters, rollback in conversations, prettier graphics, etc).

Secondly, I went through and added more animations where they made sense. I made Book 1 originally on a 1080 graphics card, and animations were 10-20 hour efforts; with my current 4090 life is much easier :)

I also added a few more fan-service events;  

The Kult of Kath is once again appeased; if you completed the new Huntress of the Highlands event in Book 1 (Buy and read it, then give it to Kath while she's working in the Bar, and meet her in the showers at night), she'll come join you for a followup in Huntress of the Hotspring. Afterwards you might want to have a word with Bella to kick off the next event.

I wasn't actually PLANNING on a new Emily event, but I had a gorgeous outfit I originally got for Lin (in Morningstar), but never used. Emily fixes that little problem, in a very sexy scene called the Dance of Veils.

Finally, Molly snuck in for a little threesome with Akane in the Dojo, called Scissors.

The *heart* of NG+, though, is the "time as a circle" aspect.  Book 1 allowed you to continue a game from the end of Book 3, starting with higher stats, more cash and all your gems. It also adjusts the story in various small ways (mostly dialog changes). This is of course inspired by Personal 4/5, one of the touchstone inspirations for Love of Magic.

If you've completed Hel's questline in Book 3, Book 2 will have a new questline, called What was Promised. It deals with philosophical aspects of divinity, time and regret; hopefully you enjoy it.

For those of you who haven't noticed it,Morningstar: Book of the Fallen is also complete (and just got an update today as well). 

Morningstar's a different world, though some of the same souls rejoin us. A young MMA fighter's life is changed forever the day he meets an Angel. Set in the dark underbelly of New York, Morningstar is a grittier Urban Fantasy inspired by 80s and 90s action movies.

Finally, with Morningstar complete I'm moving on to my next project.

Wings of Empire is a space opera set in a world where the Roman Empire never fell.

You were a Legion Centurion before an injury benched you. Unwilling to stay down you entered the navy academy,  and as a freshly minted Fighter Pilot you're now heading into the Dark aboard the Fast Attack Carrier Aquila. 

Wings of Empire draws inspiration from all the Space Opera books I've loved over the years; David Weber's Honorverse, Jack Campbell's Lost Fleet, C.J. Cherryh's The Alliance-Union Universe,  Drake, Heinlein, Haldeman and many others.
