And with that, New Game+ is complete across all 3 books, adding new events, new questlines, more enemies, and bringing the technical improvements added to the end of Book 3 to all 3 games.

One of the key inspirations for Love of Magic was always Persona, specifically Person 4 Golden. I ended up borrowing the concept of the calendar from there (mixing free time and fixed events that advance the timeline), the idea of a 'normal' world and a magical underground you could go to fight; there's even a segment in there where Dylan and MC discuss the characters encountered and the ways in which they inspired the game.

The last thing I wanted to steal  borrow was the idea of a New Game+ mode. Complete the game in normal mode, and when you start book 1 again you get the option of playing a New Game+ mode. 

You start with all your gems, higher starting stats, and extra cash. In addition to that you unlock new quests, new dialog options, and new events. There's even a 'true' ending, if you do everything right. Hint; if you haven't defeated the lady above you're not on the right path.

In addition to the NG+ only events I also added a number of new events. Emily, of course, gets more loving; there's a couple of new threesome events, and I also caved to the Kult of Kath, giving everyone's favorite werelynx three new scenes (one in Book 1, two in book 2). 

And with that, the tale of Emily, MC and the Chosen has come to an end; hopefully you've enjoyed taking the journey with me. With Morningstar: Book of the Fallen also wrapped up, this finally frees me to focus on my next major game, Wings of Empire.
