Update v0.1.22


Finished a pretty big update; the last week's been a flurry of changes based on user feedback and bug-reports.

Content wise, the big change was adding in the first 5 slice-of-life events. To add additional life to the world, I'm adding in little optional side-stories, as the characters of the game wander around the world on their own errands. This does two useful things; first and foremost it makes the world feel more alive. Secondly it offers me a chance to tell side-stories, and expand on the personalities of characters.


It also adds in a bunch of bug-fixes for the combat sequence; moving on, the biggest update for Act 2 will be in the replayable Paths of Elsewhere dungeons.

- Added ability to trigger discussion on round 0 (used to let Dylan chat; previously it was possible for the player to kill the enemy on round 1, so the talking never triggered)
- fixed fullscreen images not being fullscreen on higher resolutions
- fixed some positioning issues for characters
- Fixed typos from slice of life events
- Added blood splatter VFX to poker combat
- fixed settings -> credits not working
- Added QA credits

0.1.21
- Moving automatically from room to room doesn't update the UI name
- Fixed character positions not synching perfectly
- Added 5 new Slice of Life events (3 in bookstore, 1 in cafe, 1 in Crowley)

- Fixed the "invisible line of text" in ceremonial magic II.
- Fixed a bug where the players could trigger the elsewhere entrance out of order by talking to Katie before Dylan
- Fixed a bug where cards could be left behind on the board
- Gems handed out by katie are 3x level 1 + 1x level 4; should reduce the problem of not having any feeling of control at the opening matches
- reloading last save will now respect triggers being fired by date/time

0.1.19
What's changed:
- Training in the Gym would take up two time-slots
- Edited the coffee shop dialog to hint that there are future events ahead if you continue chatting with people
- Fixed a bug where the Art of Jeet Kun Do would fail to advance time for one of the reading slots
- Fixed an OSX build issue with invalid resource packs

0.1.18
What's changed:
- Tons of spelling issues fixed (thanks to the fine users at F95)
- Made it easier to close the Email UI
- Made it easier to train strength
- Changed the card-picking code to prioritize Right-to-left rather than Left-to-right, should make picking things easier
- Fixed up desinations not having human friendly names
- STR/INT swapped in the UI
- Made it possible to purchase coffee in a single-tap
- QSave disabled in dialog
- Adrian won't sell you stuff at night
- Computer in room would be visible when there are people in the room (overlapping their images, and causing accidental clicks)

i cant  play it 

if this was for Android, the bug is fixed in Love of Magic 0.1.22b.apk

If it's on another platform, let me know the specs, and the problem you're seeing, and I'll see if I can fix it!

Hey I just downloaded the most recent apk for Android and there's no music and no background images

Yeah. I noticed a bug in the android apk, it was missing the asset packs. I'm building again shortly, will upload and let you guys know!

Sorry about that; it was caused by something going wrong in the build process.
